Spurs shall go down fighting in the Champion's League

Redknapp admits that his team are massive underdogs after losing the first leg 4-0 in Spain last week, but the Spurs boss will accept nothing less than total commitment in the back at White Hart Lane.

The chances of a shrewd tactician as coach of Real Madrid, José Mourinho, which allows your team to delivery a substantial advantage are extremely thin, however, Tottenham can draw some beliefs of his exploits in the previous contest.

He turned a 3-0 to beat Young Boys of Berne in the qualifying round and nearly tied with Inter Milan at San Siro, despite falling 4-0 behind with 10 men and Redknapp will remind his players that before the game starts.

"I see the entire season with the way it has gone and I think we are not out of it yet. Nothing is impossible. Who knows what could happen," said Redknapp.

"People already know that on Wednesday we will give you a hell of a chance.

Spurs will 'go down fighting' in Champions League"But the Real Madrid can choose from if you're not careful, because Cristiano Ronaldo can catch the ball and run 80 yards with it and think, 'Oh, my God."

"Real could have beat us 4-0 with 11 men, who are able to do something. They have dangerous players, great players."

If this is the end of the first season of Champions League Tottenham since 1962 Redknapp is convinced that there will be no regrets that they have not reached the final at Wembley.

memorable victories over Inter Milan and AC Milan were the undoubted high points, but remain in the competition for at least one more round than Arsenal was also a sweet feeling for a club that had spent years in the shadow of their rivals North London.

"I have nothing to erase, the Champions League has been fantastic for us," Redknapp said.
"Nothing compares to the Champions League is different class. Is absolutely on another level.

"It was an incredible achievement in the club and people have been fantastic football this season, there is nothing better."

While Redknapp will be without Peter Crouch, suspended after his red card unwise and costly in the first leg, the other perceived villain of the first stage - Tottenham Aaron Lennon - is able to function after recovery from illness forced him to retire a few minutes before kick-off at the Bernabeu.

Tottenham fans will also be under the microscope after the former Royal Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who scored two goals in the first leg, were accused of racist chanting against him at the Bernabeu clash.

Although the tie is almost over and the Real face a must-the match against Barcelona this weekend, Mourinho is unlikely that the risk of resting key players against the Spurs, while looking to take club to the semifinals for the first time since 2003.

Mourinho, who won the Champions League with Porto and Inter Milan, employers know the winners of nine in real time regarding the competition as the only true judge of a manager and the Portuguese coach could do with the delivery of first win of the club since 2002 as his first season in Spain has been a stormy affair.

However, Mourinho insists he is not obsessed with winning the prize of Europe's elite club again.

"I am passionate about doing things right and make people happy. Win a Champions League trophy is something that really has an impact on the fans, "Mourinho told Uefa.com.

"Until the end of my career, I will always be trying to win again, but without it ever becoming an obsession."
